We came to a Ramen bar... and didn't eat Ramen! 🤦‍♀️ There were so many other temptations on the menu that we quickly got distracted. The Okonomiyaki Stick was a really good way of enjoying this symbolic dish without eating an entire pancake. We also had JFC with ponzu dressing, which was a much more generous size than we expected. Crispy Karaage without the oily feel, this was light and tangy thanks to the citrusy dipping sauce. The fish in the Salmon Don and Sashimi Salad were both a bit dry for my liking, and the rating reflects this. The vibes feel like a little slice of Japan, lively, cozy and inviting with its dark panel walls and art. They got rid of Mr Yum self-ordering so service is the usual, perfunctory but adequate. Overall, it was a decent experience, but probably not rushing back soon to check out the other offerings.

Best ramen I've had since I came to Melbourne. The soup was nice and hearty for a cold winter night. It's pretty small and intimate, but charming with Japanese wallpaper and anime characters littered around the restaurant. It's got quiet a few vegetarian ramen and the bases for them are fantastic!! And do not pass on the green tea cheese cake... It's sooo good

This is literally my favourite ramen place in Melbourne, nothing compares, I have dreams about this ramen, I salivate when I think about this ramen. I’ve never been to Northcote and not got ramen from here because it’s illegal to walk past it and not get the spicy veg ramen (the best ramen of all time) My biggest concern in covid was this place closing down, I was so scared. Special shout out to the best edamame I’ve ever had too, the most flavourful and divine edamame you will ever have. I’ve said it many times but if I was on death row in prison this ramen would be last meal

I went there on a Friday night and enjoyed the cozy ambiance and a tasty Japenese dinner. My order included fried lotus roots, karaage chicken, and veggie ramen. The lotus fries were crispy and perfectly complemented by a delectable mayo served alongside. The ramen, prepared with a combination of nut and soy milk, impressed me with its rich flavors. The delightful medley of bamboo shoots and tofu added a nice texture to the dish. However, it is worth noting that the only options available for the ramen were either vegetarian or served with pork. It would have been even more enjoyable if there were beef alternatives. Plenty of vegeterian, vegan and gluten free options available. The service was swift and efficient despite the crowd.
